Rights remain with their owners
Downloading a file does not transfer copyright or grant permission to repost, edit, distribute, sell, or monetize it.
Getchify does not operate a permanent public media library. It checks eligible public source URLs and provides short-lived download links when compatible media is available. Generated links expire after 10 minutes, while the original media remains controlled by the source platform.
Submit a copyright report
Email dhanur2@gmail.com with the subject Copyright request and include:
- your full name and a reliable email address;
- identification of the copyrighted work or other protected material;
- the exact source-platform URL associated with the report;
- the Getchify page or feature involved;
- an explanation of your relationship to the rights and why you believe the use is unauthorized;
- the action you are requesting;
- a statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
Do not send a password, account cookie, access token, payment information, or unrelated personal data. Do not rely on a temporary Getchify download-token URL as the only identifier; include the original source-platform URL because temporary links expire.
What happens after a report
Getchify may request missing information, review the report, and take reasonable action within its technical and legal control. Submitting incomplete or inaccurate information can delay review.
If the original content should be removed from the internet, report it to the platform hosting the source as well. Removing or restricting the source at the platform is the most direct way to stop future public retrieval.
False or abusive reports
Do not knowingly submit a false, misleading, impersonated, or abusive report. You may be responsible for harm caused by a materially false claim.
Getchify branding does not claim ownership
When present, the Getchify logo and wordmark identify the tool used to create the export. They do not state or imply that Getchify owns, created, licensed, or endorsed the underlying source video. Removing the Getchify-added mark does not change the rights attached to the source content.
